The development of the European Seismic Risk Model (ESRM20) has been supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme in the framework of the projects SERA, RISE, EPOS-IP and EPOS-SP. Additional financial support for the associated services has also been received from EPOS (European Plate Observing System) and the Italian division of EPOS (EPOS-Italia). In-kind support has also been provided by the Global Earthquake Model (GEM Foundation).

The main authors of the ESRM20 are: Helen Crowley (1), Jamal Dabbeek (1), Venetia Despotaki (2*), Daniela Rodrigues (1*), Luis Martins (2), Vitor Silva (2), Xavier Romão (3), Nuno Pereira (3*), Graeme Weatherill (4), Laurentiu Danciu (5). (* former affiliation)

We are grateful to the following individuals that have contributed to the development of the European Seismic Risk Model (ESRM20) through their participation and feedback, often obtained through workshops, meetings and emails. We would also like to thank the individuals that anonymously contributed to two surveys, one on a beta version of the risk.EFEHR platform and another on the seismic loss index map and poster (to be released in Spring 2022).
